Drug Information and Poison Control Center
A source of authentic, accurate, unbiased, and reliable information about drugs and poisons to healthcare professionals and the general public.
Objectives
- To provide independent, unbiased, authentic, accurate and objective drug information to assist health professionals in rational prescribing to optimize patient care.
- To advise general public regarding safe, effective and economic use of medicines.

Department of pharmacy has established state-of-the-art experimental research facilities where research students can work and learn in a friendly environment.

- Breeding and keeping facilities for rats, mice, pigeons, rabbits and guinea pigs
Behavioral Laboratory
- Computer assisted video recording facility
- Experiments on live animals: analgesia, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, etc.
Toxicological Laboratory
