HEC–QAA Concludes Regional Quality Excellence & Leadership Engagement with KP DAIs
The Higher Education Commission’s Quality Assurance Agency (HEC–QAA) has successfully concluded a three day regional engagement with DAI's of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the Quality Excellence and Leadership Engagement initiative.
The engagement focused on strengthening a sustainable quality culture in public and private universities through leadership ownership, continuous improvement, and institutional maturity. Participants reviewed progress on the newly introduced Quality Assurance and Internal Quality Assurance Frameworks and discussed their implementation to enhance academic standards and student centered outcomes.
For the first time, multiple HEC divisions Academics, Research & Innovation, Planning & Development, and Accreditation & Attestation jointly engaged with DAIs on a single platform, ensuring policy coherence and a unified understanding of ongoing reforms. Abbottabad UST was represented by Dr. Saifullah Khan, Director DQE, Dr. Bin Amin, Member IQC and Dr. Sardar Fawad Saleem, Member IQC. The AUST delegation participated in the QEC progress review( Together for Quality Excellence) and presented /shared progress against set targets, identified implementation challenges, and benefited from peer learning through interactive sessions.
