Awareness Seminars & Workshops on Quality Parameters

  • November 2025 — seminars on the latest HEC policies.
  • January 2026 — training / orientation session for departmental assistance on University-wide data filling (internal resource person).
  • January 2026 — awareness seminar on MS / M.Phil (equivalent) and PhD programme review for departmental focal persons.
  • April 2026 — orientation of IPR committee members by DQE.
  • Throughout the year — QA workshops, training and orientation for focal persons of the affiliated colleges (public and private) of Abbottabad UST.
  • Throughout the year — capacity building through NAHE / HEC, and empowering faculty and administrative staff under HEC policy.
  • Subject to availability — participating in and contributing to national and international QA events.

General Activities of the Directorate — Throughout the Year

  1. Gathering and following up compliance on recommendations made by external examiners in AT visits, RIPE and programme review.
  2. Facilitation in accreditation visits.
  3. Attending meetings of all statutory bodies.
  4. Plagiarism checking and the plagiarism standing committee.
  5. Research publication verification.
  6. Coordination and data submission to the regulatory bodies.
  7. Capacity building of faculty, administrative officers and staff.
