These instruments are standard across every Quality Enhancement Cell in Pakistan. Each one is filled by a defined group and feeds a defined part of the quality cycle.
Completed by students at the end of every course to evaluate the course content, its organisation, the learning environment and the workload. The single most widely used instrument in the quality cycle.
Completed by the course instructor at the end of the semester, recording what was actually delivered against the plan, results achieved, difficulties encountered and improvements proposed for the next offering.
Administered to students in their final semester to capture their overall assessment of the programme, the faculty, the facilities and their own preparedness for employment or further study.
Periodic review of the progress of MS/MPhil and PhD students, completed jointly by the student and the supervisor and reported to the Board of Advanced Studies and Research.
Measures faculty satisfaction with the working environment, workload, facilities, professional development opportunities and institutional support.
Departmental return on the state of doctoral provision: supervisor capacity, enrolment, completion, research output and resourcing.
Administered to graduates after they enter the workforce, to assess how well the programme prepared them and where the curriculum should adapt.
Administered to organisations that employ the University's graduates, to assess graduate competence against the expectations of the labour market.
Standard-format record of each faculty member's qualifications, experience, publications, courses taught and professional service, used as evidence in self-assessment and accreditation.
Completed by students to evaluate the individual teacher — preparation, subject command, communication, fairness of assessment and accessibility.
The Directorate administers the instruments on a defined annual cycle so that findings are available when departments need them for review and reporting.
